My core values are respect and compassion and I am eternally grateful to the people I have in my life now and to those who have been part of my life to date for enabling me to be the person I am today. It is important to me, whether it’s meeting someone briefly to talk business or pleasure, sharing ideas or experiencing a common interest that I am present in and the moment every time as there is so much we can learn from each other. I am also passionate about helping others to learn, thrive and pursue their own passions.
To live simply and sustainably and to help others to learn, follow their passions, grow and thrive.
Since my early years I have felt a strong connection to the outdoors, always finding peace being in, and amongst nature, be it tall eucalyptus forests, waterfalls, lakes or the beach. I’m not daunted by the extremes our seasons can bring, so I can be found out in the elements at any time of day. Since the age of 18 I have had a camera in my hand or not far away, admittedly there have been times where my passion for photography and the outdoors has ebbed and flowed against other demands of my time in my life.
I’m now back in the grip of these passions and wholehearted pursuing them, investing much of my energy and time to improving and expanding my photography through trying new genres and sharing my images and knowledge with others. I am self taught and I firmly believe in learning by experience and experimentation. I have taken a lot of not so good images, and have taken images that I am very happy with, and have taken away many lessons on how to improve my photography from both.
